1. We start with a brainstorming and outlining session (and we can do it all over the phone).
We'll talk about your life, your interests, your work experience, and your reasons for seeking
a law degree. Keep the canned responses for a cocktail party. We will not be talking about
how you were "a good arguer in high school." You're about to write an essay that makes a
difference. The things that make you human are the experiences you grow through and the details that make you stand
out. We may even help you find reasons for pursuing a
law degree that you did not even know existed within you. By session's end, we'll have an outline that prepares you to write your first draft.
2. Then we make notes on your essay and answer any questions.
After you've faxed or e-mailed us your first draft, we'll make detailed notes in the essay and send it back. This hour is comprised of time EssaySolutions spends examining your work-making certain your essay is engaging, a story that
matters-and then reviewing it with you, going over the notes and answering any questions you may have. Once everyone is on the same page, you will complete your second draft.
3. Finally, we dot the i's and cross the t's, making your final essay superb.
Session three is time spent mostly on our own. Our copy editor, who hasn't yet seen your essay, steps up to the plate to clean up lingering grammar mistakes and sloppy constructions, spell-check the spell-check, and make any final notes to ensure that your essay has an edge with admissions officers. One last time, we will speak with you, explaining any final changes we suggest. Then we review the final essay-you can never be too confident.
